Eka Juanda Hospital

A new branch of EKA Hospital is currently under construction in Jalan Juanda, Central Jakarta. The hospital building is located in an area where the transition from old buildings to modern buildings with pedestrian canopy still attached to the main building is found.
Keeping in mind of the style used in the area, the design of EKA Hospital Juanda will take on the modernised pedestrian canopy and squared windows as the facade and some accent cornice to create character and dynamic on to the building. Due to the placement of the building where it is overlooking the State Palace, the windows used are customised in order to avoid visibility of the inside of the palace.
The ambulance access is also well-thought-out as not to disrupt the pedestrian flow while also providing easy access for emergencies.
