MRCCC Siloam Hospital
Jakarta, Indonesia
The Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Center (MRCCC) Siloam, situated in Semanggi, Jakarta, has earned recognition as the 63rd best cancer hospital in the Asia Pacific region. Completed in 2011, it held the distinction of being the tallest hospital in Indonesia at that time, comprising 29 levels and two basement levels with a total Gross Floor Area (GFA) of 51,200 sqm. Designed as a specialized cancer treatment center, the hospital includes serviced apartments to accommodate the temporary residence needs of patients’ families during treatment.
With a capacity of 239 beds, MRCCC Siloam provides in-patient and out-patient services to international standards. The Cancer Centre is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools, cancer treatment rooms, and laboratories, housed primarily on level 10. Car parks are predominantly situated from level 2 to level 9. The intricate design process, coupled with stringent standards and the challenge of planning within a limited site area of around 3,400 sqm, underscores the complexity and meticulous approach applied in creating this comprehensive cancer treatment facility.
