Sinarmas Tower
Jakarta, Indonesia
Sinarmas Tower, perfectly placed along Thamrin Road in central Jakarta, offers a modern touch to the city’s skyline. Soaring 156 meters, this 25-story office tower is a prominent feature near Plaza Indonesia and the Japanese Embassy. With a distinct glass facade and elegantly curved facade, the tower’s architectural design combines modernity with sophistication. Boasting seven levels of basement, this high-rise structure is specifically tailored to accommodate the needs of the Sinarmas Group, emphasising functionality and understated elegance within the bustling cityscape of Jakarta.
A Remarkable neighbour in the thriving CBD of Central Jakarta
Nestled in the Central Business District of the Thamrin region and directly facing Jl. M.H. Thamrin, Sinarmas Tower is conveniently located close to the Bundaran HI MRT station and within a 500-meter radius of TransJakarta Bus Stops. It is surrounded by a diverse range of building typologies, including hotels, apartments, offices, hospitals, and mixed-use developments like Grand Indonesia, which is within an 80-meter radius.
Responsive Design with energy-efficient building practices
As the site is fully integrated within the existing network of business, entertainment, cultural and commercial, the architectural building has been designed and adapted from its surroundings, including the existing building of Sinarmas Plaza 1 and 2.
The design of the facade is aimed at energy-efficient building practices. It reduces solar heat radiation and generates energy through BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics).
Furthermore, the building core is strategically positioned on the western side, minimizing afternoon solar exposure. The podium level incorporates a double-glazed glass facade with horizontal and vertical fins, providing additional shading and visual appeal.
