Two Sudirman

Jakarta, Indonesia

Two Sudirman is located along the prominent Jalan Jendral Sudirman in the heart of Jakarta’s CBD, the Golden Triangle. This two-tower mixed-use building integrates offices, retail, and residential spaces to meet the needs of all users. Two Sudirman was designed to develop into a future health oasis and cultural landmark in the middle of a bustling urban area. The aim is to reduce land density while optimizing visibility in the surrounding area.

Located in a strategic area, Two Sudirman invites various activities and nature into its design, creating a generative environment. In addition, green areas are added in some places like the rooftop, balcony, entrance, and central alley, contributing to a healthy and regenerative cycle.

Inspired by Indonesian culture and nature, Two Sudirman implements these aspects in its design. The Indonesian traditional roof structure has been transformed into a canopy on the base level, while the sun shading facades draw inspiration from Indonesian culture, specifically the vibrant patterns found in batik fabric.

Two Sudirman incorporates energy-saving technology into its architectural design. The exterior façade not only shields the building from sunlight but also doubles as an energy generator and rainwater harvesting system. Additionally, solar panels are elegantly integrated into every canopy at the base level, allowing for the efficient utilization of on-site energy resources.
