K-Hub
Jakarta, Indonesia
K-Hub is an architectural project that prioritizes digital hub development, emphasizing innovation and amenities to anchor its foundation. The design focuses on cultivating a vibrant and comfortable public realm, seamlessly integrating building massing, landscape, and exterior spaces. Embracing the evolving nature of the workplace, K-Hub goes “beyond the desk,” providing a flexible layout for co-working office spaces on the upper amenity level.
The facades of K-Hub showcase a thoughtful approach to sustainability, featuring green screens with Tensioned Cable and Horizontal Planter Boxes, panelized systems with cell-based planting for green walls, and wood screens constructed from Thermally Treated Bamboo for enhanced durability. The lobby incorporates insulated glazing with low-e coating, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining visual clarity and visual transparency. Furthermore, the project introduces a primary canopy for shading effects based on structure depth and glazing performance, as well as an alternate canopy with a changing pattern reflecting the program space and surrounding landscape.
