On December 14, 2018, IAI Jakarta organized the IAI Jakarta Awards Night 2018 at Sopo Del Tower, Jakarta. This prestigious event was designed to inspire and honor architects who have made outstanding contributions to shaping a better environment through their works. The awards were given to projects that not only brought aesthetic beauty but also focused on sustainable solutions to address the challenges of present and future Jakarta. During this event, the IAI Jakarta Awards 2018 were divided into two categories: Awards and Appreciation.

The Awards category included seven award categories, such as Residential Buildings, Commercial/ Business Buildings, Public/Social-Cultural Buildings, Conservation Buildings, Urban Interventions, Special Facility Buildings, and Architectural Figures. One of the notable categories was Public/Social-Cultural Buildings, where the award was presented to the remarkable work of Budi Sumaatmadja from Anggara Architeam for his captivating project, “Gedung Fasos Bank Indonesia.”
